BMMAF LEAGUE 2026 - AMATEUR ELITE TOURNAMENT
The BMMAF League 2026 is launched!
The Belgian MMA Federation (BMMAF) has announced the official launch of the BMMAF League 2026, its flagship tournament for elite amateur fighters.
A not-to-be-missed event on the Belgian MMA scene, this competition will identify the best amateur fighters from Belgium and abroad and will serve as a benchmark for selection to the national team (for Belgian participants only).

4 events over the year
The 2026 season will take place over 4 events to ensure a gradual and rigorous selection process:
- 26 April 2026 (Qualifying - Fightoff Wavre)
- 10 May 2026 (Qualifying - Fightoff Wavre)
- 27 September 2026 (Qualifying - Fightoff Wavre)
- 11 October 2026 (Finals - TBD)
A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 athletes per weight category will be accepted, guaranteeing quality matches and close competition.
Why take part?
The BMMAF League is not just a tournament. It is an elite competition with real stakes for all amateur fighters:
- 2026 Belgian Champion belt for the winner of each category
- 500 for the winner of each tournament
- Selection for the Belgian national MMA team (Belgians only - €1,000 contribution to costs)
- Tournament open to foreign fighters, but priority to Belgians
Weight categories
Introduction of new amateur MMA weight categories:
- Strawweight: up to 52.2 kg
- Flyweight: up to 56.7 kg
- Bantamweight: up to 61.2 kg
- Featherweight: up to 65.8 kg
- Lightweight: up to 70.3 kg
- Super Lightweight: up to 74.8 kg
- Super Welterweight: up to 79.4 kg
- Middleweight: up to 83.9 kg
- Super Middleweight: up to 88.4 kg
- Light Heavyweight: up to 93 kg
- Heavyweight: from 93 kg
Each category will have its own competition bracket, with qualifying spread over the first three events.

De BMMAF League 2026 is van start!
De Belgische MMA Federatie (BMMAF) kondigt officieel de lancering aan van de BMMAF League 2026, haar vlaggenschiptornooi voor elite amateurvechters.
Dit is het toonaangevende evenement van de Belgische MMA-scène: de competitie bepaalt wie de beste Belgische of buitenlandse amateurvechter is en vormt de basis voor de selectie van het nationale team (uitsluitend voor Belgische deelnemers).

4 evenementen doorheen het jaar
Het seizoen 2026 verloopt over 4 evenementen voor een progressieve en grondige selectie:
- 26 april 2026 (Kwalificaties - Fightoff Wavre)

Per gewichtsklasse worden minimum 4 en maximum 8 atleten toegelaten, wat kwalitatieve wedstrijden en een spannende competitie garandeert.
Waarom deelnemen?
De BMMAF League is geen gewoon tornooi. It's an elite competition with high standards for amateur athletes:
- Belgisch Kampioensgordel 2026 voor de winnaar van elke gewichtsklasse
- 500 € voor de winnaar van elk tornooi
- Selectie voor het Belgisch nationaal MMA-team (uitsluitend Belgen - 1.000 € tegemoetkoming in de kosten)
- Tornooi open voor buitenlandse vechters, maar Belgen krijgen voorrang
