A pioneer of MMA in Belgium, he is a former professional MMA fighter and a direct pupil of Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro (multiple BJJ world champion, Shooto...). Despite the absence of a coach in Belgium, he has won several titles during his career (Belgian champion, European amateur Shooto champion, Pankration world championships). He founded the federation in 2006 and has since been working to promote the development of a structure that he missed during his career.
In MMA, he has found the discipline, courage and motivation he needs to develop as an individual. These qualities have also enabled him to develop professionally, and he is now Director (Corporate Digital Channels) in an international company.
