Rules and competition

Rules

The IMMAF amateur MMA rules are a set of standardised rules that create a high level of safety during competitions. It is the result of a review of best practice by the IMMAF Technical Committee.

In Belgium, the IMMAF regulation is applied, with certain particularities in terms of experience classes:

  • An intermediate novice class allowing the most beginners to do
    their first steps in competition
  • A Teenager class for 16/17 year-olds
  • We are planning the first competitions for the 12+ age group in 2021, under particularly secure rules.
